Edit or delete records, manage permissions, use App Lock, or uninstall WorthBook to remove local app data.
Full details are in the Privacy Policy, aligned with Google Play’s User Data policy.
2. Do Not Sell Or Share
Under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), “sell” and “share” can include certain advertising or data-broker disclosures. Google Play also prohibits selling personal and sensitive user data for monetary consideration.
WorthBook does not sell personal and sensitive user data and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Your in-app financial ledger is not uploaded to WorthBook for marketing use.
To submit a Do Not Sell or Share request for confirmation on our records, email louisesalas08@gmail.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share.”
3. Controls In The App
You control most WorthBook data directly inside the app:
- Edit or delete accounts, transactions, budgets, goals, bills, loans, investments, and other records you entered
- Adjust themes, currency, density, and layout preferences
- Enable App Lock with Face ID, fingerprint, or a passcode (biometrics stay on your device)
- Review Smart Entry drafts before saving anything
- Use Restore Purchases on the Pro screen if you reinstall on the same store account
- Uninstall the app to remove local app data from that device (export or back up first if you need a copy)
4. Device Settings
Use your phone or tablet settings to control what WorthBook can access. Runtime permissions are requested before WorthBook accesses gated data:
- Photos / camera. Allow or deny access used for receipt capture
- Notifications. Turn bill or reminder alerts on or off
- Biometrics / lock screen. Control Face ID or fingerprint availability used by App Lock
- Diagnostics & analytics. Limit or disable sharing of crash and diagnostic data with developers through iOS or Android system settings where available
- App permissions. Revoke any permission at any time in Settings
Denying a permission may turn off related features. It does not delete your other local financial records.
5. Delete Your Data
WorthBook does not create a WorthBook cloud account for your financial ledger. To delete your data:
- In the app: Edit or delete individual records, or clear data you no longer need.
- Uninstall: Remove WorthBook from your device to delete local app data on that device. Export or back up first if you want a copy.
- Data we hold outside the ledger: Email louisesalas08@gmail.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request” (for example, support emails). We delete associated records we control, except limited retention required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or purchase entitlements, which we disclose where applicable.
Account freezing is not offered as a substitute for deletion. See the Retention & Deletion section of the Privacy Policy.
6. Tracking & Advertising
WorthBook is not an ad-supported app and does not use your financial records for advertising or cross-app tracking. We do not use Android Advertising ID or App Set ID for ads personalization or ads measurement.
On iOS, if the system shows an App Tracking Transparency prompt for any reason, you can choose Ask App Not to Track. WorthBook does not require cross-app tracking to provide its core features.
Pro currency features may request reference exchange rates from an external service; those requests do not include your accounts or transactions. In-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their store privacy policies.
7. Access, Delete & Other Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Know what personal information we collect about you
- Access or receive a copy of personal information we hold
- Request correction or deletion
- Limit use of sensitive personal information where applicable
- Appeal a denied request where the law provides an appeal process
Deletion of your financial ledger is primarily done in the app or by uninstalling WorthBook. Requests we can fulfill centrally typically relate to support emails or similar records we receive outside the local ledger.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights available under applicable law.
8. Submit A Request
To submit an app privacy choices request:
- Email louisesalas08@gmail.com
- Use a clear subject such as “App Privacy Choices,” “Access Request,” “Data Deletion Request,” or “Do Not Sell or Share”
- Include your device platform (iOS or Android), app version if known, and enough detail for us to locate relevant records (for example, the email you used for support)
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law; we may still require verification from the consumer.
We aim to respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (often 45 days, with extensions where permitted).
